Seven European giants have spent more than €1 billion in transfer fees since 2010, but Real Madrid is, surprisingly, not one of them. Here are the highest-spending teams since 2010.The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), a Swiss-based football statistics institute, has published its latest report on sbobetsh the spending of the clubs among Europe's top five leagues between 2010 and 2018.Premier League champions Manchester City lead the ranking with an outlay of €1.47 billion (R25 billion) between 2010 and 2018, with current boss Pep Guardiola spending €600 million (R10 billion) on new players since his arrival in 2016.The Citizens are followed by Chelsea, with the Blues having paid a whopping €1.31 billion (R22 billion) in transfer fees since 2010, while Spanish giants FC Barcelona are third with an outlay of €1.26 billion (R21.5 billion). The Blaugrana edged out French champions Paris Saint-Germain to third place, with PSG spending €1.24 billion (R21.2 billion) on new arrivals since 2010.Despite a relatively quiet transfer window this time around, Manchester United are fifth with an outlay of €1.10 billion (R18.8 billion). Of this sbobetsh massive amount, Jose Mourinho has spent €432 million (R7.4 billion).Serie A giants Juventus, with €1.09 billion (R18.6 billion), and Premier League side Liverpool, with €1.07 billion (R18.3 billion), are the other two sides that have spent over €1 billion (R17.1 billion) since 2010.UEFA Champions League winners Real, who were well-known for spending big on their "Galactico" signings, appear only in eighth position after spending €912 million (R15.6 billion) over the analysed period.Serie A side AS Roma, with €809 million (R13.8 billion), and LaLiga club Atletico Madrid, with €764 million (R13.1 billion), complete the top 10.Interestingly, German giants Bayern Munich, who regularly reach the latter stages of the Champions League, appear only in sbobetsh 20th position after spending €554 million (R9.5 billion) between 2010 and 2018.
